Hayley and Ross
p.s. If Moss fathers any puppies can we have one?
We’ve had a lovely snowy few days at Caban Coch – had a great walk around the trails you’ve mapped out, with amazing views of snowy hills and mountains.
The cabin is brilliant, very relaxing lovely bed, great to have full kitchen and not just a hob! Enjoyed having a radio and pack of cards!!
Fantastic! Stunning views, wonderful seclusion. Will be returning soon we hope!
This caban is brilliant, we will be recommending it to all our friends and family.
Anthony and Jacqueline Natty
It rained, the wind blew, our cabin was cosy, we had a lovely time.

26 – 28 December
Caban Coch was even more of a delight in the flesh. Congratulations on a beautifully decorated and finished place, a real treat.
We had a fabulous time, even the terrible weather didn’t spoil it. It just made sure we made good use of the wood burner!
The only way our stay would have been made better is by having a few more nights here. We will most definitely return and will be sure to spread the word about Caban Coch!
See you in the New Year.
Jo and Steve
14th – 16th December
We have really loved staying here – very remote and cosy with the wood burner on full blast and the rain pouring down!!
Much needed escape to the country!
Love the knobs on the cupboards and the whistling kettle – may get one. The tin animals are a great addition – love the wacky dog!

7th – 9th Dec 2012
We’ve had a wonderful couple of days at the delightful Caban Coch.
A beautiful setting, cosy and toasty cabin, especially with the wood burner on full steam!!
Just the perfect place to escape, relax and get away from it all and also celebrate a birthday surprise from Paul.
We would recommend a trip to Aberdovey beach. A very cute village on the estuary.
Thank you Dafydd and Ceri for making us feel so welcome – for extra wood (much needed), mulled wine and mince pies – very festive!!
We will definitely be back for longer next time.
Take care and Merry Christmas
Victoria and Paul

Had the most amazing weekend at Caban Coch, beautiful scenery, people and tranquillity and the cosiest snuggliest caban you could ever ask for. Without doubt we will return! Best place to relax away from city life before the Christmas rush. Many thanks for a gorgeous weekend! The cakes and extra fire wood too!

9 – 11 November
What a cracking little place! We had the perfect stay. I was going to write something witty about the lack of TV but one look outside does kind of banish any thoughts of owning one!
We will return for longer next time.
Thank you very much for accommodating us.
David, Amy and Bedyr.
P.s thank you for the Welsh Cakes ‘yummy’!
3rd – 5th Nov 2012
What a beautiful cabin! So well equipped – we love all the quirky wall pieces. Had some lovely meals and card games looking at the lovely view. The fire made everything so cosy, everything is so comfortable it didn’t even matter that it was raining!
Thank you for the lovely cakes and cava! Perfect birthday celebration together!

We had a fantastic time at Caban Coch, it was the perfect relaxing break that we needed! We have fallen in love with the cabin, with it’s quirky décor and cosy wood burner. Thanks Dafydd for helping us to fix the bike, we had a lovely ride, and the views were breath taking. The icing on the cake was star-gazing last night, you certainly don’t see sky’s like that in the city.
Thanks for a lovely time, we will definitely be back!
Jenny and Steven.
The most friendly couple ever, what an amazing place.

20th – 24th Sept 2012
We absolutely loved the caban, the location and view, the friendly sheep, the cracking wood burner (phew – got pretty hot inside the caban with it at full pelt!), the quirky and original décor, well stocked with books, games and local info.
Lucky to have great weather – enjoyed the beach at Aberdyfi, the steam railway at Tal y Llyn, Folgoch falls, climbing Cadair Idris and good fish and chips from the Mermaid at Barmouth.
Thank you for a lovely mini-break.
Helen and James.
14th – 17 September 2012
A lovely place set in the hills, nice to find fire pit outside perfect for melting marshmallows and using the doe balls, (flour and water) with jam over a small fire. Loved the feeling of camping but everything staying dry so perfect Glamping.
At night we got beautiful sky of stars.
All in all a perfect weekend with my partner.
Pete and Heather.
Cabin Coch Fever
“Could you live here” she asked
I wonder if I could
So long as there’s wine
Waterproofs and wood
Our TV screen
Would be a pair of window panels
Each six foot by two
Our radio, bird song
And the wind whistling through.
Our clock would be the shadows
Of the close by trees
Our gym, the hills
With no monthly fees
Our church would be the fire
A service every night
Down a bloody mary
And show us the light
The only web sight we’d view
Would be spun, by moonlight
The only news would be
A 6 o’clock showing
Of a soaring red kite
“Could you live here?” she asked
“Yes, I think I could”
Cabin Coch’s the kinda place
That gets in yer blood
Thank you both
Adrian and Jo

Travelled up from Bristol to ‘Race the Train’ in Tywyn but that took second place to the wonderful Caban Coch!. A great night’s sleep in the cosy bed helped me get within a minute behind the train, back next year fro another super relaxing weekend in the beautiful surroundings and another attempt!
Fantastic place, really loved it.
Ian and Sophie.
15th – 17th August 2012
Words can’t describe the delight we felt when we first opened the door to the cabin! We’d had an idea from the website photos but the reality is even better. What a lovely restful environment you have created – we want to stay here forever! The bed and bedding are spot on, the creative touches so inspiring and ‘right up our street’, shower facility is great , stove so atmospheric, views outstanding…. Thank you

WOW!! What an amazing find! A truly magical place. Absolutely love the cabin! The colours, the textures and the surrounding scenery are so wonderful, you simply can’t help but feel happy and inspired. Thank you for creating this little haven. We’ve enjoyed some beautiful bike rides, sunshine, a cracking thunderstorm and 2 fantastic nights sleep!
Thank you again

Cabin Coch was the perfect location for a relaxing pre wedding short break – peaceful, relaxing and a fab quirky little cabin! We loved it.
Great dog walking beach at Aberdyfi and excellent fish and chips on the sea front at Aberystwyth (just opposite the Pier)
It was wonderful to escape the Olympic madness of London and we will definitely be returning! Thank you for allowing us to share your little part of Wales.
Joanna, Phil and Harry the dog.
27th – 29th July
What a wonderful stay! – we absolutely loved the creativity put into the cabin and admired the surrounding scenery – including the flock of sheep wondering down the road at barn. Quite a therapeutic change of view from the hustle and bustle of a city! Everything throughout the cabin is wonderful considered from the variety of utensils to the several blankets supplied to the walking map found on the wall. Yurt was also lovely but get a little chilly during the night.
Yvette, Nikki, Thylor, Winfried, Jasmine.
23rd – 27th July 2012
The plan was to walk and cycle the hills, the broken foot meant peace and quiet in a beautiful relaxing place – the caban is what dreams are made of.

14th – 16th July 2012
We have had a lovely time here at Caban Coch. At the end of every day it was a joy to get “home” to the beautiful and cosy cabin, put the wood burner on and have a glass of cava – thank you so much for providing!!
Had two of the best nights sleep and it has been the perfect getaway from the city.
We would love to come back again and thanks to Dafydd for taking the time to jump start out car after leaving the lights on all night!!
Fantastic place that I will certainly recommend.
Natalie and Danny
12th – 14th July 2012
From the moment we drove up the cabin was beyond our expectations! With the most idyllic position, quirky décor, cosy log burner it makes for the perfect get away. Although compact, everything has been extremely well through out to provide an ideal place to stay.
Despite the July rain this year, we can fault nothing else about our stay!
Joel and Pippa
p.s. cava was an extremely lovely touch, thank you again.
10th – 11th July 2012
What a wonderful relaxing place! The cabin décor and surroundings combined to create a perfect little hideaway.
Even though we only spent one night here it felt like we had been here forever.
There are not enough words in the dictionary to fully describe how great this place really is. Highlights – painting the beautiful and perfect view. Sitting on the sofa getting cosy from the warmth from the wood burner. Standing on the porch admiring the view across the valley.
Mike and Sophie.
22nd – 25th June 2012
Thank you for creating the perfect setting for a relaxing escape. We have had a wonderful weekend very cosy – love all the quirky details in the caban.
Great bike rides and the sun broke through for a great beach trip to Ynyslas – recommended it’s not far at all.
We have eaten like kings thanks to the well equipped kitchen, thank you for the delicious welsh cakes.
Best of luck, the caban deserves to be enjoyed all year round.

8 – 10th June 2012
Even at the wettest and windiest I think it could be, there’s still nowhere I’d rather be more than here right now. Caban Coch is so beautiful through out – we love every detail – and wonderfully cosy. We want to live here – 2 days just isn’t enough. Perfect anniversary and location.
Emma and Kerry
23rd – 28th May 2012
Five wonderfully relaxing days enjoying the best weather this year! The cabin is a delight in all regards – the style, the details and location.
Enjoyed the trails and the maps were very useful, although next time we want to ascend the descents!
Suggestions – (not complaints):
A washing up bowl – that low sink is not good for your back when you’re six feet tall.
Could the fridge be at table height?
And more head room would make it easier to see in.
Wishing you all the best for your future plans here at Caban Coch.
Phil, Rebecca and bump.
20th – 22nd May 2012
We had an amazing time! Thank you for such a lovely place, loved every single detail! We have been looking forward to it for weeks and we will look forward to coming here in 10years time, for our 10th anniversary.
Again thank you
Yasmina and Qutaibal
4 – 6 May 2012
Such a beautifully designed cabin, with a décor that Elle Deco would swoon over! Cotton reel door knobs and fabric pictures – loved them all – such a visual delight.
The Comedy Festival was great and we loved the drive to Aberdyfi and the waterfalls at Dolgoch. Your itineraries menus have to return! A café / pub / restaurant guide would be a handy, as the Black Lion Inn was rubbish for food (though the people were lovely).
Thanks for everything
Dick and Jo
27 – 30th April 2012
